About the Maker

Stitches in Faith is a division of Crafts of Chadds Ford and is a family business which grew out of my involvement with antiques and my love for sewing, crafting, quilting, fashion design, and vintage clothing. I have been involved in various aspects of the sewing, craft, and antique business for more than thirty years, I have found a love and appreciation for quilts, fabrics, and textile items.

Once I began my use of the internet I realized that here I finally had the cyberspace to display all the items for which I had no physical display space, and make them visible to the entire world, rather than a small little area in the historic Chadds Ford Pennsylvania.

Stitches in Faith has grown from an idea to a large multi-page website offering many items, with plans for additional growth in the future. My emphasis is on quality: I try to present exceptional items, not the ordinary.

On the personal note I have been married for 20 years. My husband and I have 4 wonderful children. Besides all of the sewing I do all day long, I play the harp and piano. I am involved in all of my children’s activities including school, sports, music, and drama. I also do plenty of volunteer work in music and costume design for my church, local plays, and camps. I love chocolate!!! I enjoy doing activities with my family, decorating my house, and taking photos. The most asked question I get…. What is your favorite thing to sew? ……….. Historical costumes & Dolls!!!
